A study on the utility of sociodrama for helping multi-cultural housewife`s adoption in Korea -The Community of DaeGu Metro-city and KyoungSangBukDo Province-

Abstract

|
The purpose of this study ware two cases of sociodrama would be effective in promoting multi-cultural housewives`s adoption in Korea. Sociodrama was practiced by volunteering group through multi-cultural approach for enhancing their competence. The first Sociodrama case was 31th July in 2008 and second was 5th Augst in 2008. These sociodrama included the program of Multi-cultual housewives`s competence enrichment. To accomplish this purpose, The participants were 22 persons, 11 for foreign participants had come from Japan, Philippine, Vietnam, 11 for domestic volunteers. The instrument used test were sociodrama`s satisfaction scale. The results of sociodrama`s satisfaction were as follows, the effects of the program increases in satisfaction of adoption and need-expression`s competence. Foreign participant`s intrinsic conflict`s factors by acculturative stress were unconditional disregard, discrimination, cultural preoccupation, sexual discrimination. In conclusion. We had recognised that all participants two cases of sciodrama were trying for understanding of each other cultural differences, respecting for each other cultural bases rather than for unconditionally adoption to Korean cultural and social trends.
